Ok, so not actually WITH them, but i went to several Who gigs over the last couple of weeks and where possible, i have taken some photos. It's been a gruelling schedule of long moterway trips and hotel rooms, oh, and trying to survive encounters with scallys in Liverpool. ( i think i just about managed to get out unscathed from that shithole of a city.)
I found it a bit difficult to keep the likes of Roger Daltrey and Pete townshend from bothering me but i eventually gave in to contant nagging for a photo session with Rog. He's a nice guy but he just will not take no for an answer. So much so, he did actually tell me to go fuck myself when i teased him about forgetting the words to "Who Are You" at Brighton but i forgave him.
Pete was introduced to me at Beaulieu but he didn't ask to have a photo taken; i think Roger had warned him of me. At Liverpool, i had to shield myself from Pete with my bodyguards and when Roger stopped in his car on the way home to offer me a lift, i again had to push some people in front of me and i politely declined -offering them as an excuse. My personal assistant, Elena, had a polite word in his ear and sent him on his way. Ta Elena.
Apart from all that trauma, the Who kicked fucking arse; especially the first night at Liverpool. Casbah Club were supurb, too.
On the downside, Mikey Cuthbert stood me up for a lunch date with a lame excuse.But he is a superstar so i forgive him.
My mates keep Pete at a distance.

ROFL! So first off I will remember NOT to go to Liverpool EVER! And second, what I want to know is did Rodger show up at your hotel room even though your trusty assistant told him of the consequences? Your Body Guards do a really great job. Are they for hire? I will just have to think of the activities I want them to protect. This could get tricky lol.

If Rog keeps bothering you, ask him and his mates if he wants to support Spiny Norman on our 10th anniversary party gig later in the year. We could do with someone to play some background music while people are eating the buffet!
Liverpool is NOT a bad city! Parts of it are really beautiful (ok there's this one patch of grass I saw on a sidewalk....). No really - I was pleasantly suprised when I visited a few years back - but we HAD to visit family...:)
They live in a very nice neighborhood.
Oh and I also visited Liverpool while I was visiting a friend who was going to university in Manchester way back in the early 90s. I even went on that silly Magical Mystery Tour Bus and it was funny, because while suffering through that tour, a car full of Liverpud boyz mooned us!!! That was more memorable than the stupid tour! LOL (Do you call people from Liverpool Liverpudlians or is that a myth? Did I make that up????).
Anyway, sorry to hear that those darn rockstars were bothering you - good thing you have a few thugs to keep them away from ya.
(But very kind of you to induldge Roger in a photo op!).

But I love handbags. I am using one now, that I have had for 5 years. Yup, can't live without it. It is cleverly called "the shopper". Yes, upscale handbags, even get names. So, "the shopper" comes shopping, to amusement parks, concerts even. I can bring along extra jackets, water bottles, umbrellas, even a small dog. It is UTILITARIAN, really. So, don't go messin' with my bags, del. And, I can fit a bikini or two in there too!
Yes, next time Sue, we will meet in a bar. And hopefully not during school hours!!!

Hi I saw you on Metal Chick's blog. You have great taste - I'm a West Ham and Who fan too! Saw the Cup final in a pub in Bulgaria - I cried my eyes out! I hate Gerrard even more now his performance in the World Cup was uninspiring! I went to the last game of the season against Tottenham - fantastic atmosphere! Can't wait for the new season.
I've seen the Who at Hyde Park and T In The Park. Wished I went to more. I have reviews on my blog. Hope they do more UK dates. Had my picture taken with Rog as well!

What's all this about scantily clad females?...right, well I'll politely avert my eyes to say I'm so glad you allowed Rog the privilege of being in your aura. I have a few bags with names, however I usually just rename them when I get home. Kinda makes them mesh better with me. I have Dumbell, Kitchen Sink, Overhead Luggage and Trunk just to name a few. I know their names sound pretty big but really they are sweet tiny handbags.
Gotta run, I forgot to pack my treadmill in my handbag named Ocean Liner.
